Rosehearty Community Boat Club started as a Millenium project to build a replica fishing boat of 100 years ago. When that was completed, we saw the need to teach people how to sail it and we have expanded from there. We have been running classes in Port Rae since 2013 and became a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation SCO45366 in 2016.
Our main aim is to help people to get afloat. If you are already a sailor or would like to learn to sail, why not come and join us. Recently, we have constructed a coastal rowing boat and have started rowing sessions for those who are more energetic. A further recent addition is a Motorhome Aire facility with temporary club membership for visitors.
Rosehearty is a small village with a very friendly and caring community. Rosehearty Community Boat Clubs' boating activities and motorhome facility attract a wide variety of visitors to the village, which helps to support the local store, hotel and other businesses. The club is also committed to providing help and support to other local clubs, societies and institutions.
