The clubhouse building was originally a toilet block on the then council run caravan site. In 2014 Rosehearty Community Boat Club purchased the building from the council for a nominal sum and carried out extensive refurbishment works, including the incorporation of a meeting room, kitchen, changing facilities, toilets and a garage. The works were completed in 2019 with funding help from North East Scotland Fisheries Local Action Group, The Gordon and Ena Baxter Foundation and Aberdeen Area Initiative Fund.
The Clubhouse is primarily for the use of the Boat Club and for servicing of the motorhome park. However, it can also be used by the local community for meetings, events and other such uses, when available. The facilities available to the community include the well equipped kitchen, meeting room and toilets.
